Dr. White is a faculty thoracic surgeon at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and assistant professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School. She received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and her general surgery training at Christiana Care in Delaware. She received her thoracic surgery training at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. White’s clinical focus is in thoracic oncology, particularly, as it relates to improving outcomes of and access to evidence-based care in esophageal cancer, lung cancer, thymic cancer and thymoma. She is dedicated to teaching minimally invasive surgery to the next generation of thoracic surgeons and conducts clinical research in clinical outcomes in minimally invasive surgery, in lung and esophageal cancer, and in resident education.
