Greetings from Dr. Lunxu Liu, Dr. Savvas Lampridis and Editorial Office of Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS)!
Indexed by the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)™ since December 2018, VATS has been steadily gaining recognition in the scientific community. We are thrilled to share that last year VATS achieved its first impact factor for the 2022 citation year of 0.2!
With the opportunity, we are delighted to present the 2023 annual report of VATS. Till December 31, 2023, VATS has a total of 77 Editorial Board Members from 14 countries. 46 articles have been published last year with 21 Review Article, 7 Surgical Technique, 7 Editorial Commentary, 4 Case Report, 4 Editorial and 3 Original Article. Corresponding authors came from 15 countries, with mostly from USA, Japan and Italy. According to the Google Analytics, VATS drew the attention of 32,440 visitors and accumulated 90,126 pageviews in the past year, with the majority coming from the USA, followed by China, UK, India and Canada.
